For all children who have recently lost a loved one
Camp Kangaroo is a bereavement camp experience offered free of charge to children in the community who have suffered the death of a loved one.

Camp Kangaroo is for children and teenagers (aged 5-17) who have experienced the death of a loved one. The camp is funded by Seasons Hospice Foundation and offered free of charge to eligible campers. Campers receive grief education and emotional support combined with traditional camp activities designed for learning coping strategies. The Camp Kangaroo curriculum follows a unique model of combining psychotherapy techniques, creative arts therapy interventions, and peer support. Led by dedicated counseling professionals and trained volunteers from AccentCare, Camp Kangaroo helps children and teenagers in the community make connections with one another and feel less alone in their grief.
